Brian is the man. If you book a tour with him, you will have a great time. Great scenic views and environment. Would definitely recommend to anyone (fit and able) coming to the island.

It's 4 miles of kayaking round trip and 3 miles hiking round trip. So if you're not in or capable of rowing and hiking that far this is not for you. The trail is muddy and it does rain. It can also be windy on the river. Reasonably priced. Brian the tour guide is friendly and very experienced. He will take tons of pics for you. Our only advice is that he slows down on the hike a bit. Otherwise super fun and beautiful.

A must do for your vacation! Brian our guide was amazing. We did the afternoon trip (12:15) and we took a leisurely paddle and hike to the most amazing waterfall. Suitable for couples, families and anyone who wants to see an amazing waterfall!

Dukes was STELLAR! Can't rave high enough about them. Especially if you go with the morning shift and get Brian as your guide! The mornings are cool, and the trail is not as slippery going in during the 0700 trip. On the way out, we ran into slick mud from the other groups going in, but that's not a Dukes thing. That's just a weather thing. Water shoes are a must. Brian is personable, funny, knowledgeable, and constantly funny! Lots of stories, anecdotes, and info. Couldn't recommend Dukes more based on our trip this morning.

The kayak tour to the secret falls was definitely the highlight of our trip. Our guide Brian is truly gifted - a free spirit who is so connected to nature that animals come to him (we witnessed this several times on our journey!) Our kids (10, 13) loved hiking with him and had a wonderful experience. The kayak trip was definitely a workout, and the guide is there if you end up needing him. There were some awesome mud puddles to hike through, and walking sticks (guide provided!) came in handy on the hike. It was definitely helpful and worth it to have a guide. Many people who were out there unguided were lost and they didn't get the awesome education and fun Hawaiian stories along the way. Two thumbs up and five stars for this tour!
